Xgentech is hiring a Frontend Developer with at least 2+ yrs experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HTML, (S)CSS, Liquid, JS, Version Control/Git, and know their way around the Shopify platform.
We work with clients who use themes from the theme store and design custom Shopify themes from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to both help kickstart new businesses in the e-commerce space and optimize and redesign stores for established brands. With over a decade of experience as eCommerce experts—we enhance, optimize, and custom-build sites on Shopify and Shopify Plus, helping our clients make the most of their online stores.
Required Skills:
Frontend development experience with a portfolio (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery)
An understanding of Git/Version Control
Experience with JS frameworks
Experience with website speed and performance optimization and best practices developing for Accessibility and SEO
Working knowledge of the Shopify relationships and attributes of products, variants, sections, templates, collections, etc
Fluency in interpreting and working with third-party APIs
Awareness of the most established libraries, their ecosystems and how to choose between them
Orderly project structures and code cleanliness
Time-tracking & good time management skills (Balance of Speed vs Quality)
Experience with cross-browser and device testing websites
